a call for help

a few days ago, Typhoon Haiyan hit the shores of Central Philippines. the extent of destruction was unimaginable, no amount of preparation could have saved us from such havoc.  towns have been flattened and houses were swept away to the sea.  those who were supposed to help out in relief and rescue operations themselves were not spared. ambulances, fire trucks, and other rescue equipment were destroyed. communication towers and power supplies are down. without any means to render help to their people, the local government in affected towns feel helpless on their own.  they need us.

we Filipinos are grateful for all the help and heartfelt sentiments from all over the world.

here are some ways help can be sent:  Philippine Red Cross or through Unicef
